Terms of use
These terms apply to the SetAura app and the trainer panel. Please read them before you start a trial or buy a plan.

Who we are
SetAura is run by Tolga Atasagun, Avenida D. Teodoro Faria 4, Coopreme, Bloco 1, 1.º Esq., São Martinho, 9000-738 Funchal, Portugal (“we”). You can reach us at [email protected]. SetAura is in beta: features may change, and we tell you in advance when a change affects your plan.
What SetAura is
SetAura is a free training app for athletes and a paid panel for trainers, who see what their clients choose to share. SetAura is not medical advice. Training plans come from your trainer or from you; talk to a doctor before you start a new programme, and train within your limits.
Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that email safe: whoever can read it can sign in. You must be at least 16 to use SetAura. You can delete your account at any time from the app or the panel.
If you coach clients
Invite only people who want to work with you. Use what they share only to coach them, never pass it on, and respect it when they stop sharing. You are responsible for the advice you give, and for any qualification or insurance your country requires. What you add (exercise names, notes, video links) must be yours or used with permission and must be lawful; we may remove content that is not.
If you are coached
Sharing with a trainer is your choice, per type of data, and you can change or stop it at any time in the app. Your arrangement with your trainer, including anything you pay them, is between you and them.
Free trial and the Free plan
A new trainer account can start one 14-day trial of the Pro plan, without a card. When it ends, the account moves to the Free plan (up to 2 clients) unless you choose a paid plan. If you then have more than 2 clients, client data stays hidden from the panel, not deleted, until you choose a plan or have 2 clients or fewer.
Paid plans and payment
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly at the prices shown on our pricing page, in euros. Payments are handled by Polar (Polar Software, Inc.), which sells the subscription to you as merchant of record, issues your invoice, charges the right VAT and applies its own buyer terms to the payment. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time under Plan and payment in the panel; your plan keeps running to the end of the paid period and then moves to Free. We announce price changes at least 30 days in advance; they apply from your next renewal.
Refunds
You can get your first payment back within 14 days, with no reason needed. The details are in our refund policy.
Fair use
Do not try to break into other accounts, overload or copy the service, open accounts to get repeated trials, or use SetAura for anything unlawful. If you do, or if you misuse a client’s data, we may suspend or close your account. We tell you why and, where we can, give you a chance to fix it first.
Availability
We work to keep SetAura available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. The app keeps working offline and syncs when it can.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing takes away your rights as a consumer.
Your data
How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy notices for the website and trainer panel, and for the app.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell you by email or in the panel at least 30 days before the change applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts. Please write to us first: most things are solved quickly.
